About the Role:

Step into the spotlight as a Bids Manager, where you'll lead high-stakes bids in both the public and private sectors. Collaborate with top-tier Partner Leads and expert professionals across the firm. With the support of a Senior Bids Manager and a dedicated Bids Team, you'll manage the bid content library, track opportunities, analyze feedback, produce insightful reports, deliver impactful training, and lead a talented Bids Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Charge: Drive bids from opportunity assessment through drafting SQs/RFIs, tender submissions, and pitch presentations.

  • Ace the Pitch: Prepare teams for pitch presentations with rehearsals and expert feedback.

  • Continuous Excellence: Analyze bid feedback to ensure constant improvement.

  • Content Mastery: Develop and refresh the bid content library with top-notch credentials, CVs, case studies, policies, social value information, and client service delivery materials.

  • Opportunity Tracking: Stay ahead with daily tracking and circulation of opportunities from direct approaches, adverts, and hubs/portals.

  • Insightful Reporting: Produce management information reports for internal stakeholders and external clients/frameworks.

  • Empower with Training: Provide impactful bids training to legal teams.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a Bids Executive.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven success in leading large and complex bids within a professional services environment.

  • Advantageous experience with public sector and housing bids.

  • Exceptional bid writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • A skilled communicator who can lead and influence multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, document management systems, tender portals, finance systems, and CRM systems.
